The Teaching Circles Program

Co-Ordinated by Prof Scott Tippens for the Center for Teaching Excellence

What are Teaching Circles?

Have you ever felt the need to meet other faculty members and just talk on various teaching and learning topics? The new Teaching Circles Program at the Center for Teaching Excellence is a place for you to share your thoughts and ideas on teaching and learning, discuss techniques, address problems, and possible solutions in a safe, collegial, informal learning environment. This program will give all the faculty a chance to effectively tap into each other’s knowledge and teaching experience in a useful, informal fashion to greatly enhance and enjoy their teaching experience at SPSU.

Why join a Teaching Circle?

  • To voice your thoughts and concerns on topics of teaching and learning that affect your role as a teacher
